"AGAIN, THANKS TO DPA MEMBERS: THE ALLEGED SEXUAL MOLESTER IN QUEEN COLLEGE HAS BEEN ARRESTED.
I just received a call from the office of the police commissioner informing me that the man alleged to have been sexually assaulting students in Queens College has been arrested and they plan to file charges against him soon.
They police requested that I beg DPA members to stop the phone protest. They asked to be allowed the time to continue their investigation into this offence. I think that's a reasonable request. Our goal for the protest was only to get the police to do their job in the matter. We have achieved that goal. We can now suspend the protest.
