ST. MARTINVILLE, La. — “I think we got a garfish,” he said as he tugged on the line. He was wrong.
It’s a good thing the camera was rolling, or folks might’ve thought he was just telling fisherman’s tales. But what this Louisiana man had hooked at the end of his line was all too real.
A YouTube user named Lance Burgos uploaded this video of the heart-stopping moment he found what was on the end of his line.
“See what I found on a noodle near our campsite,” the video is captioned. “It wasn’t what I expected. Kayaking and camping at Lake Fausse Point State Park, St. Martinville, La., will never be the same.”
Burgos didn’t stop to weigh his catch. He dropped the line and got out of there fast. Check out the video and see for yourself.
