Who killed Kikelomo Ogunyanwo Bolanle Ogundipe? Why was she killed?

Kikelomo Ogunyanwo Bolanle Ogundipe was married for 17 years to Damilola Jado Ogundipe who is an employee of Perfetti Van Milli Agbara industrial estate and they were blessed with 4 children. They lived in Agbara and that's where this took place.

Her husband has been accused of physical abuse in the past but she stayed for the children. Now he is been accused of killing his wife for money rituals because of the circumstances leading to her death.

Bolanle and Damilola

Not only has she dealt with his physical abuse, she also had to deal with his womanizing ways that had resulted in several sexual transmitted diseases. She also had to deal with him getting caught with neighbors wives.

About 3 months ago, his son (their only son) found a bottle with feathers, fetish items attached to it and a piece of paper bearing his mother's name. He alerted his mother, who confronted her husband, which resulted in him beating her up. The son called his maternal grandmother who came rushing to the house, she also confronted him, he left the house that day. The grandmother prayed over them and called it a bluff.

Fetish item

Paper found with the fetish had his name and her name

He later came home, packed few items and left. She called several family members to help her reconcile with her husband after he had abandoned them but to no avail. He refused to respond to any invitation. After several calls he finally replied calls explaining that he was asked not to step into his matrimonial home for 3 months because his mother in-law had seen the charm or else he would die.

Damilola Ogundipe (Husband)

Last week Tuesday Bolanle suddenly started shivering in the house and called her mom who rushed her to the hospital, they gave her several IVs with no improvement and no explanation from the doctor, she got worse and by noon on Wednesday she was pronounced dead.

Bolanle and her four children

The husband was called several times from when she was brought to the hospital, when her condition worsened to when she died, he never picked up anyone's call or visit her. Instead him and his father went straight to the morgue in Badagry to try and retrieve the her corpse. They demanded for the clothing items she died in but her family refused to hand it over. They tried to retrieve it from the morgue but they didn't have the ticket to claim anything.

She was buried on Friday, he couldn't bear to look at her in the coffin. Bolanle's sister had to wait at the cemetary to make sure her grave was cemented before leaving. Him and his family still demanded for her body. They even tried to trick the family into releasing her body, claiming that they want to "ro" her body ( its a ritual done to find out who is responsible for the death of a loved one). Her family believe that he is responsible for her death due to the fetish objects found by their son and his suspicious acts. They want the story out there and are demanding for justice.

How can justice be served? No autopsy was done. No investigation was done. The husband as every right to share his side of the story and dispute these allegations. I am awaiting his reply.

I pray that God comforts and console her family especially the 4 children left behind.

  5. Allegations based on rituals hold no ground in court of law.....hard evidence must be provided to convict Mr Damilola. May her soul rest in Peace.
