Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, blasted over the conditions attached to the PA job she’s offering

I have seen people get offered less pay, I think the benefit that comes with this job will pay whoever applies for the job. The condition listed is another issue

WOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS JOB OFFER?

  3. See, just because some people pay less doesn't mean she should. People keep accepting nonsense pay because someone else is getting paid less somewhere. This is why employers will keep banking and paying workers less. 70k and no set schedule? Miss me with that bullshit.

  4. I'm not a popular actress and my PA practically lives in my house. She's there as I speak, even though I'm out working. She helps me do whatever I need assistance with. She has no set time of closure but we try to make sure she leaves before 9 pm. She also is a graduate and really wanted the job because she felt that she could learn from what I do. A PA to a movie star has the opportunity to widen their own network and travel a lot. These are things that people should look out for when trying to get a job. What opportunities exist on the job to help you widen your scope as a human being? I think there is absolutely nothing wrong with Mercy's conditions. And many graduates earn way less than 100k on dreary-as-fuck jobs which they would rather not be doing. A PA to an actor NEEDS to want the job, NEEDS to see it as a massive opportunity to learn, network, and grow.

  5. Even though this is not an America job, but many fresh graduates in America graduates who are single and career minded will take a job as PA to Gabrielle Union for 30-40k a year for the experience. I believe it depends on the applicants ambition and what they will do to get there.

  6. I know of single graduates, with masters degree in view, earning 15k/month, who grovel before their employers who hardly have an NCE certificate to even get that 15k, yet they have all the free time with which they do absolutely nothing on the side. This kind of job presents a wide range of opportunities but the applicant has to be see that there are good opportunities here. And the pay is a generous offer for basic salary, in my opinion.

  8. I see nothing wrong with these conditions. The exposure such a PA would get far outweighs this. Yes she should be paid more ,bt hey! Nigeria lawa. Unemployment abounds. Besides Mercy is a fast becoming a household name if not already, so why not if not? Bank tellers get paid for way less in banks doing noting but payin and receiving cash with huge risks o. I come see opportunity i go come dey shakara. Mba! Each mallam to his kettle sha

  9. Newbie Bank marketers are on 40k and below. If I had seen this entry back when I was with FCMB, I would have done anything to get it. I don't see what the noise is about. Personal assistants don't have regular hours in any clime. People are bored jare.

  10. Does it come with health insurance, 401k, disability insurance and all? Job description is not bad as long as that crazy low salary is negotiable more like 500000 naira
