Police dismiss cop for collecting N50,000 bribe

A police sergeant, Daniel Osaimayu, has been dismissed from the Nigeria Police Force for allegedly collecting N50,000 bribe from motorists in the Oshodi area of Lagos State.

Our correspondent gathered that Osaimayu, who was attached to the Lagos State Task Force on Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit, Alausa, was arrested on Monday by the X-Squad of the Lagos State Police Command.

Our correspondent learnt that the X-Squad operatives had arrested a hoodlum in the area and found the cash on him.The hoodlum, however, fingered the police sergeant, who was posted to the area, as his accomplice.

The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, who confirmed the dismissal on Wednesday, said four other policemen were dismissed for extortion and improper dressing.

Our correspondent gathered that the four dismissed policemen were Samuel Ando, Michael Adeoya, Richard Ugwu and Sulaiman Muhammed.

It was learnt that Adeoya was dismissed for allegedly wearing flip-flops while on duty, while Muhammed was dismissed for allegedly not wearing police uniform while on duty.

Speaking with PUNCH Metro while being paraded, Osaimayu, who was dismissed for bribe, said the money was received from motorists in the area and kept with the hoodlum.

The ex-policeman, who denied that the money was collected in his name, begged the CP to reverse the dismissal as he had no means to feed his family.

He said, “I was at my duty post on Monday in the Oshodi area when the X-Squad operatives came to arrest me. It was around 10am. A hoodlum had earlier been arrested and searched, and the money was found on him. The suspect confessed it was the money obtained from motorists and he said I authorised him to do it.

“I did not know he collected any money on my behalf. I was whisked off to the command headquarters, Ikeja. They searched me, but no money was found on me. The CP should reconsider me. I have family members to cater to.”

Adeoya, who was arrested for wearing flip-flops, denied that he was on duty at that time, adding that he went to the Mile 12 Market to buy food supplements for his fowls.

He said, “I boarded a tricycle to the Mile 12 area. As I alighted, the X-Squad officials swooped on me and said I was improperly dressed. But I was not on duty. I worked as a guard to a chairman of a political party in the Kosofe area.

“As of the time of my arrest, I was going to the market to buy food supplements for my fowls. I rear fowls in my house. I was surprised that I was arrested. After I was interrogated, they said I would be tried for improper dressing. There is nobody to feed my fowls. They would have all died by now.”

Another suspect, Muhammed, who was attached to the Idimu Police Division, while pleading for mercy, said he had a health challenge and was going to treat himself when he was arrested.

He said, “I was on night duty at a politician’s house in Idimu. I had an asthmatic attack and I was going to get my inhaler. Someone gave me a ride to Idimu. I was going to the police station when they arrested me for improper dressing. I am not into extortion. I was dealing with my health challenge.”

Owoseni said the Nigeria Police Force was a professional organisation which would not condone any act of indiscipline.

A Picture for Her Mommy

"Proverbs 3:5  Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;  NIV

I work as a photographer.  Yesterday, I did a newborn session for my neighbor’s brand new granddaughter.  I do these often, but this time, I really needed to pray before the session.  The grandmother had booked the session for her daughter, explaining that the baby’s dad had been tragically murdered by someone he thought was a friend.  The sweet mom is an emotional wreck.  She wanted to use Dad’s motorcycle gear; something he loved.  I wanted to do my best, so I asked for God’s help.

I made this image.  It is good, but it’s not perfect.  I shared it on social media with the Mom’s permission and …..it went viral.  6.5 MILLION people saw this.  20 THOUSAND people shared it.  130 THOUSAND people LIKED it.  All day long, I was, for lack of a better word, confused and overwhelmed.  What was going on?  It’s sweet, but I’ve sure done better photos.

Then the Mom sent me this:
“And I will screenshot the page in a few weeks and I'll print it off for her to show her the WORLD prayed and wept for her and mommy and daddy. That God moved the WORLD for us. That daddy made an impact even after he was gone and that would be his dream. Every prayer from another is one less weight for me to carry.... It's one more piece of peace I have and one less tear I shed.”   Now, I knew why so many people shared it.

God, today, you used me in a mighty way.  You touched so many people with something that came from my camera.  I prayed for a powerful image to give to this Mother and Daughter.  Well done, God…..well done."

The Story of Deacon Segun Iperepolu of RCCG Heavens Glorious Embassy Texas

I received this story and I am sharing it as received. All this happened while he was a Deacon and as a PA to the pastor. He also defrauded the pastor's brother. I removed some personal information dye to legal reasons. Anyone with further information can forward it to my email mysparklediva@gmail.com.

"You will see two attachments to this email. One is a copy of the notarized letter I am sending to the Immigration concerning your fraudulent marriage to Shandley R. Turner in order for you to obtain green card and evade deportation. The second attachment contains your arrest for PROSTITUTION; for which you agreed to a number of conditions to avoid prosecution. It also contains your two marriages to Adetokunbo Adeyemo and Shandley Turner. I will be serving the second attachment on every member of RCCG parishes under HGE Province.

MY CAMPAIGN
Mr. Iperepolu, I am on full throttle in my campaign against you under the following four categories:

(1) Sending a letter to the Immigration that will lead to your eventual deportation from the United States as an Illegal immigrant who committed marriage fraud to obtain immigration benefits.

(2) Filling criminal complain against you over your fraud, forgery, and giving me hot check in your efforts to cover up your criminal acts of defrauding my company and my family to the tune of at least $24,000.

(3) Filling a civil lawsuit against you for swindling my company and my family to the tune of at least $24,000.

(4) Giving you a public disgrace among members of RCCG parishes under HGE Province.

Shade Atoyebi, your newly-found fiancee (another Nurse, huh!) who has now turned herself to your confidence-builder and advocate; sent a text to me that I should proceed to the court "where justice will be served appropriately" over your fraud, forgery, and eventual swindling my company and my family up to the tune of at least $24,000. You will have her to thank for hastening up the legal battle against you once you are convicted of your crimes and eventually get deported to Nigeria on your marriage fraud.

When I sent my text to you 04/03/2016; stating that I will drag you and give you a public disgrace in the church if you continue to function in your capacity as a minister, you were so dump to think I was going to PHYSICALLY do so. Your arrest for prostitution, pleading, and fraudulent marriages are what will drag and give you public disgrace among RCCG members that you have been deceiving for these many years. If you want to know how I will do it, I will be nice enough to tell you. I will hire professionals to stick copies of your arrest and fraudulent marriages to members cars in all parishes when Sunday services would be going on. I will also be sending a copy of the package to Ebute Metta in Lagos, Nigeria. Information that I will circulate among RCCG members and in the package going to Nigeria will include all instances of your fornication enumerated below:

YOUR SEXUALLY PERVASSIVE LIFESTYLE
(1) Do you remember sometimes around March 2015 that you asked me to help you drive down a lady from Houston to Dallas, which I declined to do? I remember visiting your apartment at about 8 pm sometimes later that month and you introduced the lady to me that she was the individual you wanted me to help you bring from Houston. I left your apartment at about 10 pm that day and left ONLY the two of you behind. Yinka Semilor, your former roommate, just informed me today that the name of the lady is Aduke. He said you introduced the lady to him as your girlfriend and that you have known her from New Jersey. He said the lady spent a week with you and both of you were sleeping together in the same room for the one week visitation. Now, here is another dimension to the story: You were to help this Aduke of a lady repair her car and you collected $1,000 from her for the repair. The car was not fixed very well. Aduke recently called the mechanic who repaired the car, yelling on him and querying him as to why he would collect $1,000 from her and did not do a good job of repair. The mechanic was surprised and told Aduke that you, Mr. Iperepolu, only gave him $200 from the $1,000 you collected from Aduke. Mr. Iperepolu, so you also swindled your own girlfriend. Wonderful!!!l

(2) I came by your apartment one day in October 2015 to drop off a car battery. I knocked the door and discovered it was unlocked. A lady, who was eating on your study desk, peeped through the window, saw that it was not you knocking, and was running into the room. At this time, I had already entered inside apartment. I told her to relax and I apologized for her embarrassment. That was the last time I stepped into your apartment.

(3) Yinka Semilor, your former roommate whom you accused as your accomplice in your fraud, forgery, and swindling told me there were at least three occasions he came home and met you with different ladies. He said you told him they were students from the school where you take classes, that you brought them home to "teach" them. He said he questioned you why you could not teach them in school, but had to bring them home. He said he knew you brought them home to have sex with them. Yinka has asked me to put all these forward and he said I should tell you he would be visiting the church one of the Sundays in this month to expose you in the public to all the church members. Yinka can be reached on (taken out), if any reader of this email wants to talk with him directly.

(4) The same Yinka told me of another lady simply called Peju, whom you have been splashing money on just to have sex with her. He said Peju told him of your demands for sex and showed him all your sexual text messages to her. Yinka can provide Peju's phone number and Peju can produce the sexually explicit text messages.

(5) Yinka told me of a Cameroon woman who was learning CNA from Dr. Fasanya's clinic, where you also work part-time. He said you used to bring her to your apartment to have sex with her. He said you have now dropped the lady because both of you fought the last time she visited you. I think Dr. Fasanya can shed more light to this if he truly has a Cameroon woman learning or working at his clinic.

(6) Yinka told me there is a lady in our church (HGE) who is a police officer and who always visit you at your apartment. Yinka said he can count several occasions this police officer has visited you. I know you used to mention to me a police officer in the church who is interested in marrying you, but that you told her you were only interested in having sex with her. You told me of exchanging sexually explicit text messages with her to convey your desire. When I mentioned you could get in trouble in the church if she shows the texts to the leadership of the church, you said you would claim that somebody must have hacked into your phone to send the text messages. As a matter of fact, you nickname this police officer "Radio FM" because you said she would search for criminal records of members of HGE and relay them to you (a violation of privacy law and ethic of police profession). You told me of the instance of Abiodun (Abbey) Ogunsola, who is currently serving his 8 years probation for sexually assaulting a minor, which was later reduced to injury to a child so he could be on probation instead of serving jail time. I later found out the case of Abbey is true as I also have the affidavit of his arrest and documents of his guilty plea bargain.

(7) Do you remember telling me a lady visited you from Nigeria, whom you said is the wife of your uncle? You did not allow me to step into your apartment during the period of her  one-month visit. You would rather meet me outside of your apartment. You reported the lady to me on various issues and that you wanted her to leave your residence. Well, as it turns out; the lady, Mrs. Akomolafe, told me today that you busted into the room one day and demanded to have sex with her while your penis was dangling in front of her. Yinka connected me with her today on a 3-way calling. She is now in Chicago. She denied that her husband is your uncle. I told her that is how you introduce me to people that I am your cousin even though we are not related. Your father is from Ilaje kingdom and I am from Ikale Kingdom. I have refrained from listing her phone number, since I didn't get her permission to do so, but can privately provide it if any reader of this email wants to hear directly from her. Both Yinka and Mrs. Akomolafe are separately receiving this email. She also alleged that you are fetish and that you had counselled her on several occasions to seek solutions from herbalists. Coincidentally, being fetish was one of the many allegations your ex-wife leveled against you. The bible says that by the mouth of two or three witnesses the truth shall be established. I remember you telling me that you were a member of secret cult while in the Nigeria Police Force. You told me how you would kill people like chicken. You further told me you had a satanic spiritual father in Oshogbo that you must visit every two weeks. In addition, I have personal knowledge that you easily and fluently curse people with deep Yoruba curses whenever you are angry with somebody. But you know what! Go and gather all your herbalists in this world against me. They (including you) will fall for my sake. Mrs. Akomolafe even said you were dating her sister in Nigeria before you traveled down to the United State. I will be encouraging her to file sexual assault criminal complain against you.

(8) When your fiancee-turned-advocate visited my residence on 04/01/2016, I mentioned to her that I heard from a very reliable source that you have a child in New Jersey. She said he also heard the information, that you admitted to impregnating a lady who was your real estate business partner, but that she lost the pregnancy due to stress. The stress was that you swindled her of TENS of thousands of dollars and ran to Dallas to settle down. The lady was still carrying a pregnancy for you at the time you came to HGE to declare yourself as an ordained minister. The same lady will be contacted by the law enforcement agency during their criminal investigations into your life. Just yesterday, I heard of another Kingsley whom you swindled $27,000. He will also be part of your criminal investigations.

THE BIG QUESTION
But Mr. Iperepolu, I have a question for you! At what time in your life did you become born again? When you were in Nigeria, you told me you were in cult and that you were involved in killing people as a police officer. When you got to New Jersey, you impregnated your business partner and swindled her, according to your current fiancee. When you got to Dallas, the same atrocities of impregnating, indiscriminate sexual intercourse, prostitution, swindling, and lying continue; either within or outside the church. You know deeply within your heart that you have never given your life to Christ and that you are only deceiving the church of God. Despite all these ongoing atrocities of yours, you still have the audacity, the temerity, and the effrontery to see yourself as a minister of God. How merciful art thou oh God!!!

IN CONCLUSION
(1)  I told Dr. Fasanya yesterday that I was driving straight to the police station from the church to file criminal complain against you. He pleaded with me to hold off any legal action against you until tomorrow; so he could have a conversation with you on your plan to refund the money you stole from my company and my family. As a result, I will hold off all legal actions against you. I will also hold off from sending off the letter to immigration until I hear back from Dr. Fasanya. One thing you would have noticed about me is that I will tell you my plan ahead of time so you can have time to remedy your wrongs.

(2) I will also hold off distributing your evidence of prostitution, marriage fraud, stealing, and fornication to members of RCCG. However, I will go ahead with my plan and without any further notice to you; if I see you sit in the ministers seat next Sunday or officiate in the church in any capacity at any time; until you pay up the money you stole from me in full. This is my last warning to you.

LOOK OUT FOR TOMORROW'S EMAIL RELEASE
By tomorrow, you will be receiving another email from me. The email will shed light on the fact that you are truly an agent of the devil, sent from the pit of hell with a mission to destroy the character of HGE leaders and their families. It will contain all your conversations with me about the people listed below. I have added, in bracket, little tips of what you said about each of them, until the full disclosure coming tomorrow.
I will also be sending my write up on your conversation with me about these individuals to members of RCCG if you continue to function in your capacity as a minister as from next week. The goal is to let every member of RCCG be aware of who, really, is DEACON Segun Iperepolu.

Thank you!

Dr. Gbenga Funmilayo"

Police arraign school accountant for diverting fees

An accountant with a private school in Lagos, Elizabeth Ikechukwu, has been brought before an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court for allegedly converting N210,000 fees paid by pupils to her own use.

The police arraigned her on two counts bordering on stealing after she reportedly confessed to the crime.

It was learnt that the 26-year-old defendant joined the school – St. Joseph Nursery and Primary School, Agege – in 2014, and was collecting fees and depositing same at a Wema Bank branch on behalf of the school.

She was said to have forged the stamp of the bank and placed it on deposit slips, under the pretext that the money had been remitted into the school’s bank account.

PUNCH Metro gathered that the fraud was discovered late May during the auditing of the school’s financial records.

The case was reported at the Isokoko Police Division and Ikechukwu was arrested.

The Delta State indigene reportedly owned up to the crime, saying she used the money to take care of her mother who was admitted to a hospital.

She was arraigned by a police prosecutor, Inspector Clifford Ogu, who told the court that the offence contravened sections 285 (2) and 363 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.

The charge read in part, “That you, Elizabeth Ikechukwu, on May 19, 2016, at about 12.55pm, at St. Joseph Nursery and Primary School situated at Idi-Mangoro, Agege, Lagos, in the Ikeja Magistraterial District did forge Wema Bank Plc stamp, purporting it to be original of N210,000 property of the school.”

The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge, and elected summary trial.

The Chief Magistrate, T. Akanni, granted her bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum. He added that the sureties must present evidence of tax payments to the court.

The case was adjourned till June 8, 2016.

Alfa abducts, rapes Dubai returnee in Lagos

The police in Ogun State have rescued a 24-year-old Dubai returnee from the custody of an Islamic cleric five months after he allegedly abducted her from the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Ikeja, Lagos State.

The suspect, Olalekan Anifowoshe, aka Alfa, was said to have kept the victim, Simbiat (pseudonym), in his rented apartment in the Atan-Ota area of the state and allegedly had sex with her during the period.

A Good Samaritan, who saw her sometime in May, was said to have informed her family and the case was reported at the Onipanu Police Division, leading to Alfa’s arrest.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Simbiat and the 42-year-old suspect were neighbours in the Surulere area of Lagos.

It was gathered that the suspect’s wife and three children also resided in the Surulere area.

The woman was said to have consulted him in 2013 for help over a spiritual attack before travelling to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Simbiat, who spoke with PUNCH Metro, explained that after she received a call from Alfa on January 11, 2016, instructing her to come back to Nigeria, she lost her  senses and returned to the country immediately.

The victim told our correspondent that Alfa had slept with her for at least 10 times, adding that anytime she demanded to see her parents, he would beat her up and boast that she had reached her “final destination.”

She said, “Sometime in 2013, I had a dream that a man made love to me. A friend introduced me to him and he gave me a piece of white cloth with Arabic inscriptions to cover my body whenever I wanted to sleep, which I used. Some months later, I travelled to Dubai.

“On January 11, he called me on the telephone to come home. It was like a spell. I packed my things and arrived in Lagos the following day without telling my parents. He picked me at the airport and took me to his apartment in the Aboru area. After some time, he relocated me to Atan-Ota, where he was eventually arrested. He beat me anyhow and slept with me.

“Sometime in May, he took me to a river for a ritual. While he left me to do something inside the bush, I saw someone I knew. The person informed my father that I was already in Nigeria, but in captivity. My father was shocked because he thought I was in Dubai.”

Simbiat, who sold food in Dubai, alleged that Alfa also collected her jewellery valued at N250,000 and a cash sum of about N480,000.

The suspect allegedly owned up to the allegations in his statement to the police, promising to refund the money.

He said apart from prayers, he also used traditional means to help solve his clients’ problems.

He said, “I am married with three children. The woman and I knew each other in Surulere, where my family members reside. As an Islamic cleric, I help people facing problems with prayers and it works. That was how I got to know Simbiat.

“It is true I cast a spell on her to come back to Nigeria. She was living with me and I slept with her occasionally. I only borrowed the money from her, I will refund it.”

A source close to the victim’s family, who did not want her name in print, said it was unfortunate that she had to go through such an “excruciating” experience.

“I don’t know why this happened to someone like her. She is decent and religious. I have never seen her with a boyfriend. I think the mistake she made was narrating the dream she had to a friend who took her to Alfa. If she had told her father, she would not have fallen victim,” she added.

The Ogun State Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the incident in a text message, saying the suspect had been charged to court.

“Case confirmed. The suspect has been charged to court after a thorough investigation. The command has no tolerance for such inhuman case and we will always fish out the perpetrators,” he said.
